Species List
The current tally of documented species within the Whistler Municipal boundary is over 2,500 species, and we expect it will near 3,000 when all new records are collated. This total is more than five times more than the number known when the Whistler Biodiversity Project started in late 2004. There are undoubtedly thousands more invertebrates, as well as many other fungi and lichens. Time to get outside and find them!
